The New Year will be an exciting one for HOSA as the Community Relations committee prepares to send 22 HOSA members down to Panama and Costa Rica for two weeks of service learning!

The trip, through International Service Learning (ISL), will be from May 22 to June 4th and those who decide to join will have the experience of a lifetime. This multi-disciplinary health program gives students the faculties to perform health services for under-privileged areas throughout these two countries over the two weeks. They will spend the first few days learning basic health skills, and will spend the rest of the trip applying their new found abilities in clinics that they will set up in surrounding communities. There will also be a time to explore, appreciate and relax in these two beautiful countries.
